1. small batch test brews
For larger breweries, we offer a service to make small batch test brews. Wondering about the right amount of additive, type of hops, yeast strain or fermentation temperature? Before you implement a large-scale plan, you can have us develop a recipe and make a small batch test brew with real-time monitoring of the entire process allowing you to determine a number of modifications. We can provide production conditions that allow 100% translation of the process to a larger scale.
The profile of our water can be freely modified and adapted to suit the style and parameters of the brewery commissioning the service. The current parameters are available on the Waterworks website at: https://www.wodociagi.katowice.pl
We have an innovative method that allows the wort in the vat to be cooled quickly to the intended temperature immediately after the brewing process using ice water, which makes it possible, among other things, to carry out hopping using the efficient hopstand method.
The brew can be divided into 2-4 fermentation tanks with conical bottoms, suitable for pressure fermentation, carrying out the further process at different temperatures and pressures. Bottling is done into bottles or keg containers. When bottling, pasteurisation with precise control of PU units is possible. .
During the process, we offer access to information on the current fermentation phase recorded in real time in the cloud. At the end, in addition to a fixed quantity of finished beer, you receive:
– detailed documentation including a record of the fermentation process in the form of a graph with real-time readings of temperature and degree of attenuation, precise readings at each stage taken with an Anton Paar oscillating densimeter.
– results of microscopic examination for quantity and viability of yeasts, presence of bacteria
– possibility of measuring by gas chromatography with concentration of min. ethanol, acetaldehyde, 2,3-butanol (additional test cost)

2. Developing beer recipes
If you want to introduce a new type of beer but do not have time to develop the recipe, you can outsource the entire process to us. We will produce a fixed number of small batch test brews according to your guidelines, after which you will be able to choose the final result most suitable for you, along with full production documentation.
